Ethiopia’s Central Rift Valley (CRV) is a vital region in terms of its enormous ecosystem services and augmented biodiversity. Nevertheless, its ecosystem services and biodiversity are under extreme stress from rapid population growth, unjustifiable developmental activities, unscheduled urbanisation, uncompromising agricultural spreading out, climate change, and the associated changes in land use and land cover (LULC). The negative influences of the continuing natural resources outrageous conditions challenged the livelihood of communities as well as the ecosystem in the CRV.
