We are delighted to announce the publication of our scientific article entitled: “Phosphogypsum and Organic Matter: Sustainable Solution for the Rehabilitation of Saline Lands in the Saloum Delta, Senegal”. The article is available online at this address: https://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation?paperid=14203 .

This work is the result of a collaboration between Wetlands International and the National Institute of Pedology, under the scientific direction of Dr Boubacar Sagna, Project Manager at WIACO. It is part of a long process of testing and experimentation aimed at sustainably restoring saline lands in the Mbissel Valley, in the heart of the Saloum Delta.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Fatick team and the management of Wetlands International Africa for the excellent results achieved, which reinforce nature-based solutions to soil degradation.

This publication marks an important milestone in our commitment to ecosystem and community resilience. We hope that this experience will inspire other initiatives and lead to many publications from our programs.
