Funded by Subsea 7 and implemented by Wetlands International Africa, the Community Support Project aims to contribute to sustainable development in their areas of intervention while supporting the conservation of natural resources and biodiversity. It focuses on the following areas: mangrove restoration and conservation, environmental education with support for the school system in the Saloum delta. Project activities will be implemented in the departments of Fatick and Foundiougne, in the Fatick region. In total the project covers five (5) communes in the delta. Areas of intervention : Dionewar, Palmarin, Fimela, Bassoul, Djirnda.
