Cross-border Humanitarian Synergy for Ecosystem Restoration

On September 11, 2025, in Katakalousse (Casamance), we had the honour of participating in a mangrove restoration day as part of the International Camp: Cross-border Humanitarian Synergy bringing together volunteers from Senegal, The Gambia and Guinea-Bissau.
This initiative, led by the International Red Cross and its partners, was made possible thanks to the support of Wetlands International Africa.

🌱 Together, we joined forces to:

  • Restore mangrove ecosystems,
  • Strengthen cooperation between neighbouring countries,
  • Promote human and environmental solidarity across borders.
